so let me preface this video by saying power wagons on 33s in 40 inches of ice crusted snow drifts don't work to well lol! I proceeded to get stuck a total of 5 times today, 3 of those in the same deep ice covered sugar snow drift. I do believe if I would have given it a bit more skinny pedal, that number would only be 2 instead of 5 haha! it was fun regardless, and our RP was able to drive right out after breaking up the snow with 3 other rigs and airing his tires down to 10 pounds. The only winch lines pulled today were to save myself and another responder after we fell through the top 4 inches of hard pack ice/snow. once you broke through, 24 to 40 inches of sugar snow greeted you under. this wasn't so much a recovery as a retrieval. mission complete at 17:30! my license plate took some ice damage/cracks and the lower bumper valance that I was planning to take off anyway, is permanently deformed now.
