K2M Photography's video: Hicksville FD Building Fire South Oyster Bay Road 6-24-17

At 12:33 hours on the afternoon of Saturday, June 24th, 2017 the Hicksville Fire Department was dispatched to a reported building fire at the intersection South Oyster Bay and Woodbury Roads. Responding units were advised by dispatch that multiple calls were being received reporting the fire and that police were on scene reporting a working fire. When firefighters arrived on scene they were met with smoke showing from Luigi Q’s restaurant – a one story commercial building located on South Oyster Bay Road. A signal ten [working fire] was transmitted by Hicksville Second Assistant Chief Flahavan [9303]. At its height, the fire reached a third alarm equivalent with the final alarm being struck for relief purposes. Among the departments mutual aided were Syosset, Jericho, Westbury, and Bethpage among others. All fire department units were under the command of Hicksville Chief of Department Diaz [9301].
