K2M Photography's video: Syosset Fire Department Building Fire Woodbury Road 4-9-23

On the afternoon of Sunday, April 9th, 2023, the Syosset Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a building fire on Woodbury Road off Syosset-Woodbury Road. Those to arrive on scene were met with heavy fire showing from a two-story mixed occupancy with a florist on the first floor and apartments on the second floor. A signal ten [working fire] was transmitted and mutual aid requested. The fire became a multiple alarm operation with fire extending throughout the structure as well as the wooded area across the street. It took firefighters several hours to bring the fire under control and its cause is under investigation. All fire department units were under the command of Syosset Chief of Department Peter Silver [5800].
