K2M Photography's video: Valley Stream FD House Fire Lamberson Street 11-22-17

At 02:34 hours on the morning of Tuesday, November 22nd, 2017 the Valley Stream Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire at 61 Lamberson Street off North Grove Street. When firefighters arrived on scene they were met with heavy smoke showing from a two-story private dwelling leading to the transmission of a signal ten [working fire]. Malverne was designated the FAST for the operation and responded with Ladder 434. Valley Stream Engine 341 was the first engine company to arrive on scene and went on to put three hand lines into operation. Additional mutual aid was provided by Lynbrook, Hewlett, Elmont, Woodmere, Hewlett and Lakeview among others. All occupants made it safely out of the home and the cause of the fire is under investigation. All fire department units were under the command of Valley Stream Chief of Department Jimmy Ervolino [3400].
