K2M Photography's video: Hewlett FD House Fire Huckleberry Lane 9-22-17

Minutes after noon on Friday, September 22nd, 2017 the Hewlett Fire Department was dispatched to a reported house fire at 1331 Huckleberry Lane in the dead end off East Rockaway Road. As firefighters were preparing to respond they were advised by dispatch that Nassau County Police were on scene reporting a working fire. Firefighters confirmed this when they arrived on scene and found heavy fire on three sides of a two-story private dwelling. The fire went on to reach a multiple alarm equivalency bringing mutual aid from several neighboring departments. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
