K2M Photography's video: East Farmingdale Fire Co Building Fire Alder Street 6-26-22

On the night of Sunday, June 26th, 2022, the East Farmingdale Fire Company along with mutual aid units operated on the scene of a working fire at Omni Recycling on Alder Street in the dead end off Edison Avenue. Firefighters battled heavy fire throughout a steel structure used for the storage and processing of garbage and recycled materials. The fire load included at least one payloader and an industrial style conveyor system. Firefighters put at least five master streams into operation on all sides of the structure to bring the fire under control. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. All fire department units were under the command of East Farmingdale Chief of Department Duane Welliver [1-5-30].
