K2M Photography's video: Hempstead FD House Fire Jerusalem Avenue 5-30-18

Multiple fire departments operated on the scene of a fully involved, vacant house fire on Jerusalem Avenue in Hempstead on the night of Wednesday, May 30th, 2018. The house, located on Jerusalem Avenue between Greenwich and Henry Streets, had been the site of at least three working fires over the past few years. Due to the significant fire load firefighters utilized an exterior operation upon arriving on scene. The fire grew so intense it extended into exposure four [also a two-story private dwelling] where two hand lines operated. Several hand lines were placed into operation along with one tower ladder and one tele squirt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
