K2M Photography's video: Hempstead FD House Fire Linden Avenue 4-3-19

At 20:18 hours on the night of Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019 the Hempstead Fire Department was called to a house fire on Linden Avenue between Peninsula Boulevard and Laurel Avenue. Hempstead Fire Alarm Central [fire communications] advised responding units that multiple phone calls were being received reporting the fire. When firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with heavy fire in two private dwellings – 116 and 120 Linden Avenue. The fire went on to reach a multiple alarm equivalency bringing various mutual aid units to the scene and to standby. During the operation firefighters briefly turned to an exterior operation when conditions worsened, and accountability needed to be taken. The cause of the fire is under investigation and all fire department units were under the command of Hempstead Chief of Department Giardino [80].
