Top WWE Superstar Reportedly ARRESTED!! (Why They Were Arrested) - WWE News Recent news broke out via TMZ, that a certain top WWE Superstar has been arrested in Detroit, Michigan. Both Jimmy and Jey of The Usos are set to compete this Sunday at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, for the SmackDown Tag Team Title match this Sunday at Elimination Chamber, facing off with current champions Shane McMahon and The Miz. However, this hasn’t stopped Jimmy from staying out of trouble. TMZ very recently broke the news that Jimmy Uso had actually been arrested by law enforcements in Detroit. They reported: “The 33-year-old who's the son of WWE HOF'er Rikishi and his wife, fellow WWE Superstar Naomi, were pulled over near downtown Detroit after cops say Naomi was driving the wrong direction on a one-way street. According to our police sources, cops say their 2018 Dodge Journey reeked of booze so they ordered Naomi out of the car. We're told while Naomi talked to cops, Jimmy got out of the car despite commands from police and took off his shirt and jacket and squared up like he wanted to fight. We're told the officer took out his taser 'cause he was scared for his safety. Jimmy ultimately settled down and complied with their commands then he was handcuffed, and arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction. He was taken to jail and later posted bond. Uso was not in Detroit for a WWE event.” Not only this, but brother Jey was also arrested in January of 2018 in a similar situation. Jey was arrested for a DUI, having to post bond for $500. Whilst no DUIs were handed out for Jimmy, he was cuffed and had to post bond after being charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction. This mustn’t be going down well with WWE officials, the creative team and Vince McMahon. While it is a possibility that the outcome of the Smackdown Tag Team Championship match at elimination chamber could be altered as a punishment for Jimmy, Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer (which is also hosted by Dave Meltzer) doesn’t think that this is the case, and the two will more than likely leave Houston, Texas as the new Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions. He mentioned: “I think you’ll be surprised because The Usos’ contracts are coming up here in a few months and the company doesn’t want them going to AEW. So I wouldn’t be surprised if The Usos won the titles quite frankly.” If you’re unaware of the situation, both Jimmy and Jey of The Usos have been are just 2 highlights of WWE Superstars with their current contracts finishing up in April, with WWE officials fearing that the two may jump ship to All Elite Wrestling, with their tag team division which is already heating up. The rumor is that therefore, WWE will be doing everything that they can to make them happy and want to remain as WWE Superstars, as this is something that the company has done on more than a handful of occasions. Though with the current predicaments, that being that Jimmy has been arrested, only time will tell whether the two will grab the belts at Elimination Chamber.
