KLShortFilms's video: The CCH Asylum by Ekatrina Lishava

@The CCH Asylum by Ekatrina Lishava
The CCH Asylum is a scene that touches on education and how it suppresses the innocence, creativity, and intelligence of students. About the Scene: - This scene is completely shot and edited in 4 hours. - The main purpose is to create an isolation between the audience and the actors, and to observe what's going on in Fransisco's mind after the school principle administers an injection with the help of the guardian (or the parent). - The gurney was placed in the middle of the stage to create an invisible separation between Fransisco's characters/thoughts on the left (innocence and creativity) and the right (intelligence) of the screen. - The scene starts in B/W to represent that the stage is actually the CCH Asylum, but when we progress into color then the audience is gradually entering Fransisco's mind. In the end of the scene, reality and dreams are confused and everything changes back to B/W. And we are back to the CCH Asylum.
