KP's video: nuapada vlog on our 6th Anniversary

Patora Dam, Nuapada. Just see how beautiful some of our less explored destinations are. Hope we are responsible enough to keep them that way and not spoil or pollute them. DETAILS: This is the dam site of the Upper Jonk Irrigation Project on river Jonk. Surrounded by lush green hills this place has a beautiful rustic feel to it. On the left of the dam, down the slopes of the hill is a thick patch of grass where one can stretch and enjoy the serene surroundings. The place is frequented by college students and families. TRAVEL /🏨 STAY : Just 20 km from Nuapada, the dam is easily accessible by road. The site closes by 5 p.m so be sure to reach before. Nuapada town is about 460 km from Bhubaneswar, and it takes about 10 hrs of drive time via Kantilo, Sonepur, Balangir, Padampur. The whole route has many points of interest including Kantilo Nilamadhaba temple, Nayagarh's Satakosia and Sidhamula, Sonepur town by Mahanadi bank, Balangir, Waterfalls near Padampur and many more. Nuapada too have beautiful waterfalls like Godhas, Beniadhas and Kharaldhas. It's located just about 12 kms from the lovely Godhas waterfall.
