A 'Unified Ticketing System (UTS)' will soon be introduced for the digital payments where Abhi Bus has acquired the tenders conducted in this regard.Making cashless transaction available inRTC buses for the first time in the country,APSRTC will introduce Unified TicketingSolution (UTS) machines in RTC buses very soon for the convenience of passengers. It will also help avoid them loose change issues. According to credible sources in theAPSRTC, Vijayawada and Guntur-1 depots have been selected to replace thhe existing ticket issuing machines (TIMs) with a UTS machine as part of a pilot project.These tvwo depots have been piloting the project in services to Tirupati, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai for the past eight days.
