Menteri Kesehatan (Menkes) Terawan Agus Putranto menjanjikan sejumlah alternatif untuk masalah defisit anggaran BPJS Kesehatan dengan menawarkan solusi melakukan revisi INA CBGs terkait kenaikan harga dan tarif. Kemudian, Kementerian Kesehatan (Kemenkes) akan mengkomunikasikan lebih terkait data PBI (penerima bantuan iuran) kepada Kementerian Sosial (Kemensos). Dan ada wacana bahwa Kemensos akan memasukkan 5 juta peserta baru ke PBI.
