The new Godzilla anime from Toho, Godzilla: Singular Point, was recently announced and Toho dropped a teaser trailer a few days ago and it’s gotten fans talking about Godzilla once again, during the drought of GvK news and the lack of a trailer. Despite that, we at least have Toho returning to produce more Godzilla anime, this time a full series consisting of 13 episodes for the first season, set to release in early 2021, a month before GvK! Featuring a brand new take on the king of the monsters, familiar classic Kaiju that haven’t been seen in decades with major redesigns, and an original premise that has people speculating on what this new Godzilla will be about! In this video, i share my thoughts on this new teaser, what do I think of the new designs and what I hope this anime achieves to make up for the mostly despised Godzilla Anime Trilogy from Polygon.
