Kale Project's video: American Song Contest 2022 Top 56 Ranking After Show With Comments

I have actually been watching this and have been pleasantly surprised how well the show has been put together but even more important, pleasantly surprised by a lot of the songs! A lot more of these were enjoyable than I was expecting. I have been a bit disappointed with the jury results and actually, a lot of the public voting. There's not a lot of diversity in the entries being put forward into the semi finals and I definitely find a lot of the songs similar. There are of course a lot of bland, unexciting entries...but that's to be expected considering who's involved in the organising of the contest but, I have to admit that overall, they've done a really good job. I know the ratings haven't been great but I do hope that the show is considered a success and we get (at least) one more edition of it. So here is my ranking of the song selection. I do know that my ranking is radically different from the other rankings out there but this is reflective of my own personal taste and I hope that the comments I've left go some way to explaining why I've placed songs where I've placed them.
