20 Indian Army soldiers were martyred in a clash with China’s PLA troops on June 15 along the Line of Actual Control at the Galwan Valley. Mirror Now brings you the story of Naib Subedar Satnam Singh who is one of the martyrs of the Galwan Valley clashes between India and China.  The first to join the Army from his family, Naib Subedar Satnam Singh inspired his younger brother to follow suit, who also serves as a Naib Subedar. 41-year-old Naib Subedar Satnam Singh was from Punjab's Gurdaspur. As a Gurdaspur police vehicle rolled into Naib Subedar Satnam Singh's house in his Bhojraj village house, no one knew what happened in Galwan Valley. They were worried as the family had not been in contact with Naib Subedar Satnam Singh for three days. They had heard about the tension but nothing had prepared them for what the police were about to inform them.  In his sacrifice, India's braveheart has ended up inspiring a nation.
