First poem I ever recorded. Did it on my phone so the sound quality isn't perfect but I don't care. I just hope it makes whoever hears it think a little bit. El Manifesto Vol. 2 Question everything is the only truth that I believe Belief leads to delusion in this world that I see Everyone forgets that we could all be wrong It could have been stupidity or lies all along It could be fear pride and misinformation From birth to death and being taught to embrace them If it sounds right and fits then it must be the only answer All who challenge this should just be rooted out like cancer Time and time again until the opposition's crushed Always we forget that every one of us is us We buy in to the bullshit and take the easy way out Then we bitch and cry and moan and scream and rage and shout We fight wars and we fight ourselves each and every day And we're losing it's like suicide of the human race We run with ideas until they're treated like gospel But there is no pure truth life is situational Fight or flee is the most basic survival instinct But we're capable of so much more because we can think It doesn't make us special but it might make us unique Even if we are alone it doesn't really change a thing It takes all types we have to learn to coexist With ourselves and the universe or we'll end up a blip From atoms to infinity sometimes I can see it all I'm just not so sure we'll ever get off of this ball I most certainly sound crazy and I really could be I could be wrong but that's why I'll never believe Fuck Capitalism and the party system plus money is fake The Idea of America is almost the only part that's great Equality is the one quality of it that I truly love But capitalism leaves most of us fucking crushed A capitalist world could never have equality Rich people making laws is not democracy Freedom of speech and belief are probably the next best two But they also breed bullshit that ends up fitting like a shoe From Columbus to today it's been corruption blood and lies But this isn't about examples it's the theory in my mind Democracy is outdated I don't believe in the majority There's billions of people considered the minority No one has the right to control anybody else And there's way to many people locked up in cells Food water shelter and power should be free We should all help each other because we are all we Every religion should be abolished no matter the cost Faith is not worth all the billions of lives lost There could be a god but no one knows what it wants That fact shouldn't decide if we are good or not
