Never fought this boss on my first playthrough as I wasn't too keen going through an area that is more or less constant PVP due to the presence of a lady with an ominous bell that will summon hostile players all the time until you kill her. The boss itself can be rather tough as you can see, especially since the weak spots are on his/hers/its hands and they're moving rather quickly too, so you gotta be quick with your attacks.
