Yoga is said to be a self-massage. In this complete yoga practice we refresh the body with full body rolls and Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation). We take purifying poses such as Pavana Muktasana and moving bow (Dhanurasana). The joints are mobilised and lubricated with simple circular movements. Standing poses are taken for strength and stamina - Katichakrasana (the Well), Virabhadrasana 2 (Warrior 2) and Parsvakonasana (Side Angle Pose). The abdominals are activated in Varighasana (Tiger Pose). The hips are opened in Eka Pada Rajakapotasana (Pigeon Pose) with the option to bind the pose. This practice is suitable for new and experienced yogis, however if you are new to yoga, I recommend viewing before practising to maintain the pace. Om Shanti : )
