This complete yoga practice warms, strengthens and limbers the body with moderate intensity. Options are given to lighten the practice if needed. The practice includes shoulder mobilising and arm strengthening poses such as Makarasana (Dolphin Pose), balance poses to improve concentration, a supportive inversion - Shashankasana (Hare Pose), energising Surya Namaskar A (Salute to the Sun) and modified Surya Namaskar B. We take all 3 warrior poses cultivating strength, courage and resilience. Gentle twists and hip openers are taken, as well as, the backbend Ustrasana (Camel Pose). This class is suitable for new and experienced yogis.
