View of a sunrise from Mount Tolmie in Saanich (Victoria), Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. The sun rises over San Juan Island, with Mount Baker in view on the right. The summit of Mount Tolmie is about 120 metres (395 feet). Most of the mountain is parkland. While Mount Tolmie isn't part of a mountain range, it's possible to see parts of four mountain ranges from its summit: the Coast Range, the Cascade Range (notably Mount Baker and Mount Rainier), the Olympic Range, and the Gowland Range (notably Mount Work). Also in view is the Engineering Computer Science Building at the University of Victoria. Sunrise was 5:46 AM. It came up over San Juan Island a few minutes after that.
