In this video we cover the journey from Tiruchirappalli Jn to Nagercoil Jn, travelling in the ultra modern LHB coaches for the very first time. One of the earliest trains to start running back on tracks after COVID and still running with full occupancy, some of these South bound trains have shown why they are the real big boss of Tamilnadu. RPM WAP-7 37114 leading the LHB formation of this train on 6th May 2021 has shown its pure agression and has arrived before time at all stations enroute. The train has already done the Chennai Egmore - Trichy journey in less than 4:40 hrs. Arriving TPJ well before time by atleast 15 minutes and on time departure at TPJ, our 02633 did complete justice to the people's faith in it. It was purely hitting MPS at all sections and has done the TPJ DG jouney in about 1hr 5 min flat, yeah you heard it right, a whooping 96km in 1hr 5 minutes. We did cross some other Chennai bound COVID specials like Pearl City, Nellai, KK superfast, Ananthapuri, Nagercoil Tamaram Antyodaya, Kollam Chennai enroute. Literally bossing the entire stretch from MS to CAPE, its the BIG BOSS of South anyday !! It even skipped big and busy stations like Satur, Kovilpatti and Vanchi Maniyachi Jn at pure MPS while its counterpart train bound to Egmore has halts at CVP and SRT. The train was alloted with the state of art brand new LHB coaches from Egmore on Mar 9, 2019. This train runs via Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Vridhachalam, Trichy, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Tirunelveli and Nagercoil before reaching its final destination - Kanniyakumari, well before sunrise. Primary maintanence of this train is done at Thoothukudi and has Rake Sharing Arrangement (RSA) with 02693/02694 MS-TN-MS Pearl City Special. We can hope that after the doubling from Madurai- Kanyakumari is completed, the journey time can even be reduced further.
