I noticed during editing that I accidently skipped over toners, which I would have given a SAVE grade due to there being great affordable mists on the market, such as the Mario Badescu sprays. Several people have pointed out that I glossed over how important SPF is in your routine, and I completely agree and apologise for any confusion caused. I think this is one of the most important steps in your routine and this is definitely an item that I recommend SPEND over SAVE on. There is a lot of conflicted opinions in both the scientific and medical communities on which SPF is the best or how much or often to use them, but we can all agree that it is really important in skincare routine and should always be included, and that avoiding direct sunlight during the hottest parts of the day is important for the health of your skin.
