Kathy Cadile's video: Vintage Junk Journal With Denim Pocket SOLD

This is my newest junk journal. Not sure why we call them junk journals because they are not made with junk but lots of new and old items. Somehow the name stuck and it is a classification we use to describe the journals we make. This journal measures 6-1/2 x 8 inches and has 24 pages. The covers were made with fabric, sandwiched with batting and machine quilted. The front cover was designed with ticking fabric, corrugated cardboard, vintage lace and a denim pocket made from recycled jeans. The jean pocket has a small tag, great to use as a gift tag and behind the corrugated cardboard is another pocket which has a mini journal in it. The back cover also has some ticking fabric, corrugated cardboard, homespun fabric and a doily. Inside the journal you will find lots of ephemera, tags, journal cards, glassine bags, envelopes, doilies, lace, vintage buttons and much more.
