Kathy Cadile's video: Vintage Junk Journal Altered Book Class 2

Hi everyone, I made another altered book journal and I hope you enjoy taking a peak at it. I love making these types of journals. This journal measures 5-1/2 x 8 inches, has two signatures and 50 pages. There is also an additional writing journal attached to the inside front cover. This can be removed to ease in writing and attaching photos. The front cover was created using lots of lace, papers, corrugated cardboard, some burlap, a wooden stick that I found on a walk I took, a metal embellishment and a vintage photo. The spine is accented with some fabric that I dyed using a rusty solution and there are also 3 large buttons. The back of the journal has some book pages and a little lace peaks out from the spine. You will also see that I've included some bead charms. Inside the journal you will find lots of coffee-dyed papers, some water color paper, fabrics, buttons, lots of lace, copies of vintage photos, frames, stamping and so much more.
