Kaui's video: Water conservation tip for people who both bathe and garden not together

Using a hardware store 6.5 gal water can and funnel to keep that water that normally runs down the drain while you let it get up to temperature. I have an "instant" gas heater running that part of the house, but it takes 30 seconds or so of running the water before the hot hits the tub. I'll usually collect a couple of gallons in that time - not an earth shattering number, but I do it every day when I bathe the kids. I use it to water the garden to augment my rain catch barrel and to refill some fish ponds that get low due to evaporation and transpiration from the plants. My one year old son lets you know at the end of the video how he feels about all of this.
