Kaui's video: 2015 Silverado 4wd Electronic High Pitch Noise - make it quiet

My Silverado makes a horrendous high pitch noise that sounds like an old school dialup modem made love to a dog whistle and this was their evil love child. It happens when you switch the transfer case from 2wd to any of the 4wd modes the entire time you drive. You can hear it a little towards the end of the video, but not all ears can pick it up. See this guys video for a better description. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhLK6F7HCXI I quiet it down a little using some generic dynamat sound deadening material from Amazon (Noico brand). I can still hear it, but its about 1/4 as loud as it was before. Genuinely gave me a headache before doing this. There is supposedly a replacement part from GM that eliminates the noise with a new capacitor design, but that's a few hundred dollars that I'd rather not spend. You arent crazy if you hear this noise and you ask somebody else to listen to it, and they cant hear it!
