Kaui's video: Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX Install in a 2012 Toyota Rav4 Wireless Apple Car Play Video in Motion

Rather lengthy video of me upgrading our 2012 Rav4 into 2019ish tech. Sorry about the annoying glitchy noises - testing out new software. Installing the AVH-W4400NEX double din head unit from Pioneer to gain wireless Apple Car Play and screen mirroring capability. Parts were selected using the Crutchfield tool and ultimately purchased off ebay/Amazon. Wireless Apple Car play works. Wireless Android Auto does not work (Galaxy S9+). Screen mirroring works - Miracast(SmartView on Samsung) for Android (wireless) and Apple lightning to HDMI adapter dongle (wired) tested on an iPhone X (use genuine Apple dongle ONLY!!!). Video in motion works - wired bypass + no GPS antenna or upgrade firmware to 1.01 (Set ON trick) and wired bypass/grounded parking brake cable from the pioneer unit. Only thing left to do is wire up the reverse camera signal and reverse signal wire to get the OEM reverse camera to show up on the Pioneer unit. I left the wires dangling under the dash in appropriate places so that I dont have to tear the dash apart again. Careful working back there, I lost a 10mm socket somewhere in the abyss!
