Lyrics: There's a part of me You will never see Never see It's buried deep There's a part of me You will never see I thought I could outsmart myself That I could run away Run away from me Even at the edge of the world It found its way Found its way to me Now tell me Is there a way to Erase what I've done? The line is crossed, I can't change it Rewind time to kill All the guilt inside of me How many times can you push the boundaries Before you turn into evil? I'm sick of contemplating with myself Erase As the months turn to years And the faces come and go Not a single warning That a simple misstep could be so hard to shake As the months turn to years There is only one constant Erase what I've done? The line is crossed, I can't change it Rewind time to kill All the guilt inside of me How many times can you push the boundaries Before you turn into evil? I'm sick of contemplating with myself Erase Why do I waste energy Going over mistakes? In a hundred years Nobody will remember them, right? x2 Erase what I've done? The line is crossed, I can't change it Rewind time to kill All the guilt inside of me How many times can you push the boundaries Before you turn into evil? I'm sick of contemplating with myself Erase Ryan Thomson: Guitar, Drum Programming Simon Eriksson: Composition, Arrangement, Bass, Synths and Lyrics About Face Of The Moment: Formed in early 2019 by Simon Eriksson and Ryan Thomson, Glasgow based Face Of The Moment seamlessly blends intense metalcore with classic hard rock vibes, resulting in songs where melody is just as important as heaviness. The first single “Erase” is a great example of this, featuring a huge chorus, intense verses and distinct rock vibes as a common thread throughout the song. Revolving around the relatable theme of regret, it is a track that will resonate especially well with younger audiences that is in the process of growing up and learning how to deal with inevitable missteps. Face Of The Moment as a band name not only represents how people have different sides to them depending on the situation, but it is also reflective of the band member’s different backgrounds, both culturally and musically. With band members from Sweden and Scotland, they are influenced by both Scandinavian and British bands such as Bring Me The Horizon, Wintersun and Architects.
