Kemp Strings's video: Training Your Floyd Rose - Getting in tune with the bridge parallel to body quickly with lego chock

@Training Your Floyd Rose - Getting in tune with the bridge parallel to body quickly with lego chock
0:00 Introduction 0:47 Chocking the trem (using lego) 2:09 Tuning up the instrument using the machine heads (with locking nut not locked) 3:57 Locking the nut again using a hex key 4:23 Remove the chock again 4:58 Using the screwdriver to tune all the strings at once using the trem claw screws 7:45 Summary No fine tuners were used in this video. Actually, a lot of the time when Floyd Rose guitars go out of tune it is because of the effect of temperature changing the rest length of the steel and you can get all strings in tune at once just using a screwdriver! I'm using a Stanley Phillips (not Pozi) Screwdriver with 1pt tip (or PH1 tip), 150 mm blade (or 6 inch blade). It's best to get a good long screwdriver for this job so you don't make a mess of the screws or wood of the guitar. The technique of "chocking" works for all trem guitars to get the bridge to float where you want it. The guitar used in this video is a 2017 Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 2 HH FR Natural Ash (with Original Floyd Rose system) fitted with Kemp Strings prototype Locking 9s and Floyd Rose Noiseless Tremolo Springs (Heavy Duty) as sometimes I use 10s on this guitar and stronger springs help with that.
