I recently connected an ESP32 to my water meter: https://youtu.be/D6JG2DZeWeY That was a fun project, but had no idea how useful it really was. I've been monitoring water usage all over the house, and discovered that the shower was using over 3 gallons/minute!! That's crazy, so by just replacing the bathtub spout, we're back down to 1gal/min... sure enough, this had a huge impact on the water bill the following month.
