@A wild male gaur comes down from mountain to street in Wang Nam Khiao

Thap Lan National Park officials, police officers, and rescue workers from Nakhon Ratchasima Province worked together on Feb. 10 to return a wild male gaur about two years old who had wandered off and lived along Highway 304, Pak Thong Chai-Kabin Buri, Ban Non Sanga, Udomsap Subdistrict, and Wang Nam Khiao District to the protected forest area. Over the last 2–3 years, gaurs (Indian bisons) in Wang Nam Khiao have begun to go to the villagers' agricultural fields in search of food. There were reports of locals being assaulted and hurt by them, while many gaurs have been hit by cars.
