Abhimanyu Mithun and Krishnappa Gowtham threw their bat around for a brief while, but by this point, Bengal's victory was a matter of when, not if. They needed just 17.3 overs to pick the seven wickets, powering through to the final. Karnataka's downfall began way early in the fixture when they allowed Bengal to recover from a shaky position, with Anustup Majumdar scoring an unbeaten 149 to take his side from 67 for 6 to 312. Porel's devastating spell saw Karnataka concede a massive first-innings lead, after which they struggled to play catch-up. In the end, they lost the fixture by 174 runs.
