@History Of Handball
Handball was evolved back in the 15th century in Scotland where King James played a form of handball in his castle, by the 1500s it was played widely in Ireland and during the same time frame the Irish immigrants bought the sport to New York. Handball became famous in USA during the 1880s. The rules of the games are very simple; there is court with six surfaces, ceiling and all four walls-in plays. The most important thing is the hand should be cupped to disperse the impact. The motion should be pretty much like throwing as your elbow flings forward before you sling the ball. In handball you need to calculate where the ball will go after the hit that is the key just like tennis, stay at the edge the moment your opponent is serving be ready to spring towards the ball. People who play handball are really less in number but the community as they believe is tight knit. Also Handball is a good way to exercise and stay fit. Handball is faster than tennis and technically requires more precision and tactics than practically any other ricochets sport. The accuracy required in handball is often compared to the accuracy that is requisite for playing golf. The good thing is that the cases of injuries are very few in this sport as compared to others. Handball is played during Summer Olympics it is also played during the Pan American Games, All Africa Games and Asian Games. Sports like handball should be given boost so that they come at par with the other prevalent sports.
