I forgot to not attach the strut onto the trunk lid until both sides are out. A minor inconvenient, but you don't want to stress the weight of the trunk lid onto the one strut. So grab a friend or use your head to hold up the trunk lid while you work quickly. MAKE SURE TO PAD (WITH THICK MICROFIBER TOWEL) THE EDGE OF THE REAR GLASS SO YOU WON'T DAMAGE IT WHEN THE FACTORY STRUT POP OFF. TOO MUCH FORCE CAN DAMAGE YOUR REAR WINDSHIELD. How do I know?
