You can see in my other videos that I had a 2018 Long Range All-Wheel-Drive Model 3 in Multi-coat Red. I do love that car but I also wanted the Performance variant. At the time, the price for the Performance trim was really high! I couldn't justify the reason to pay an extra $12+K for it. Price for the Model 3 has drop A LOT since and now for a Performance, the price start at $56,990. I paid about $67K w/TTL for my AWD in RED back in 2018; I did splurge for the FSD but it was about $4K extra and $5K for the Enhanced Autopilot. At the time of this video, FSD is at $7K and will continue to go up as Tesla release more and more features. I didn't add FSD this time but will add it later if I think its worth it. I do miss not being able to summon the car up and down my driveway though. I can do another video talking about the trade in process with Tesla if anyone is interested. I just took delivery right before Christmas. So I will quality for that last $1875 tax credit. Last time I got the full $7500 tax credit. I saw Tesla recently released the $2000 "Acceleration Boost" Upgrade that will drop my 0-60 time from 4.4 sec to 3.9 sec. Instead, I was like all or nothing and got the Performance 3 instead! YOLO right? It was time for new tires on my red 3 and also need an alignment. I was looking at $1300 for a set of tires and plus $$$ for alignment.
