Date of Capture: 15th Nov 2022 Ghaziabad Shed based WAP5 30006 doing the honours of conducting the High speed trial of 140+ Kmph in the Chennai - Arrakonam - Renigunta section of Southern Railways to increase the line MPS ( Maximum Permissible Speed) of 110 KMPH to 130 KMPH. Chennai Gudur stretch is recently upgraded to 130 kmph becoming the first section in southern railways to get certified for passenger train operations at 130 Kmph. Since Vande Bharat is recently introduced in this section, SR is very keen to increase the sectional MPS to 130 Kmph between Chennai and Jollarpettai.
