Kiwis Fly The Coop's video: Alexandra Central Otago

@Alexandra, Central Otago
Alexandra has a bit of a reputation of being the hottest, driest and coldest town in NZ.  It has four distinct seasons and is one of the reasons it is rather a unique place to visit at any time of the year. It is spread out on the banks of the Clutha River, 188 km from Dunedin and approximately 30 km south of Cromwell. As well as wanting to finish off cycling the Roxburgh Cycle Trail from the Alexandra end (see the previous video), we were keen to explore the greater area to learn what history surrounds this beautiful Central Otago town. We certainly weren't disappointed as we found that it was dotted with dams, lakes and mining history.
