Kiwis Fly The Coop's video: Glenorchy Diamond Lake and Surrounds

To get to Diamond Lake, you need to travel through the metropolis of Queenstown and past Glenorchy.  Be aware that on google maps, there is another Diamond Lake near Wanaka. This was new territory for me as I'd never really ventured too much further past Glenorchy.  Continuing for another 17km (9km of that is unsealed) we reached Diamond Lake.  It was a good road surface and suitable for larger rigs. After a night at the beautiful lake surrounded by towering mountains, it was back to Glenorchy where we made it our base to discover the sleepy town and its surrounds. We travelled to Paradise, Chinaman's Bluff, Invincible Mine Site and the Glenorchy Scheelite Battery and Mines. Just stunning countryside and truly a little slice of Paradise for sure.
