Kiwis Fly The Coop's video: Cycling the Spooner Tunnel

When we found out that the Spooner Tunnel is the longest disused railway tunnel in NZ, in fact, the longest in the Southern Hemisphere AND the 5th longest in the world........we just had to cycle it of course. The building of the tunnel finished in 1893 and although it was closed in 1955, the sides still have layers of soot from the steam engines that had to chuff their way up the incline, through the Spooners tunnel towards Nelson.
