Kiwis Fly The Coop's video: The Catlins - Part Three

@The Catlins - Part Three
It was time to finish what we had started and explore the rest of The Catlins.  We'll call this vlog Catlins - Part Three, which takes us to the northern end of the stretch of coastline.  If you haven't yet read my previous blogs Catlins Part One & Two in the links below. We're basing ourselves in the northern reaches of the Catlins. This time our camping spots are at Hinahina Reserve and on private property, close to Nugget Point Lighthouse. We explore Jack's Bay (and see a very tame blowhole!), Cannibal Bay (no bodies found) and Surat Bay which was named after a shipwreck. We also found the southernmost rail tunnel in the world at the aptly named Tunnel Hill. Nugget Point lighthouse is one of the oldest lighthouses in NZ and we found out how it got its name.
