WAITING FOR THE END – audiovisual installation. A never-ending pandemic. Putin starts a devastating war in Europe. Climate change is accelerating. Overpopulation, famine, soil sealing, depleted resources, unfair distribution of wealth, misery of refugees, ... "Waiting for the End" was created in January 2022 and events quickly caught up with it. However, "Waiting for the End" is not only about catastrophes and dystopias, but also questions the eternally repetitive and often senseless behaviors and actions of human beings. WAITING FOR THE END is part of a series of artworks that place innocent childlike virtual characters in various social, political and humanistic contexts and environments.
