The key to reading body language is being able to understand a person's emotional condition while listening to what they are saying and noting the circumstances under which they are saying it. Nodding the head is almost universally used to indicate 'Yes' or affirmation. Shaking the head from side to side to indicate 'No' is also universal. And three rules for accurate reading that are discussed in this video are 1. Reading gestures in clusters. 2.Looking for congruence 3. Reading gestures in context.
