Through out history, the open palms have been associated with truth, honesty, allegiance and submission. Like most body language signals, this is a completely unconscious gesture, one that gives us an intuitive feeling that the other person is telling the truth. There are three main palm command gestures. Palmup, Palm down and the palm closed finger pointedposition. Turning your palm from facing upwards to facing downwards complete alters how others perceive you.And shaking hands is a relic of our ancient past. The handshake evolved as a way men could cement a commercial deal with each other .Few people have any idea how they come across to others in initial meetings, despite the fact that most of us are aware that the first few minutes of that meeting can make or break a relationship.
