Diesesmal findet Meister Eders Kartenabend bei ihm statt, weil die Stammkneipe zu hat. Also schärft er dem Kobold Verhaltensregeln ein, die speziell lauten: keine Karte anlangen. Zur Belohnung verspricht er ihm eine Tafel Schokolade und Pumuckl gönnt sich schon mal ein Stück, damit er weiß, ob sich das Bravsein lohnt. Also verhält er sich auch zuerst vollkommen ruhig. Als ihm langweilig wird, setzt er sich zu den Kartenspielern ohne aufzufallen. Das Problem fängt an, als einem der Spieler die Zigaretten ausgehen und Meister Eder seine anpreist und sie auch als die besten erklärt. Danach geht das Spiel weiter.
