'Giant Turf-Lily' exhibits arching, airy foliage lending a certain grace to any setting. This grass-like greenery flourishes in shade (where most grasses languish). Liriope gigantea is a true foundation plant, when properly positioned, it thrives for decades, needing little care and modest watering. An elegant thing happens in late summer and early autumn (in the northern hemisphere), when slender bloom spikes of pale lavender white, subtly emerge amoung the foliage . . .
