(OCT.09) For the Winner Announcement: http://www.koreanculture.org/education-literature/2020/9/17/korean-alphabet-love-festival --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2020 Hangeul Calligraphy Contest will be an opportunity for any resident in the United States with or without prior knowledge of Hangeul to participate and to appreciate the beauty of the Korean language. You can participate by writing and/or decorating your favorite Korean words or phrases in any way you like! Hangeul is the name of the Korean writing system and alphabet invented in 1443 by King Sejong the Great. Hangeul consists of 24 letters inspired by the shapes formed by the human vocal organs during speech, making it very easy to learn and use.
