What is Nottuswara? The Nottuswara are a set of compositions in carnatic classical music composed by "Sri Muthuswami Dikshitar", one of the trinities of carnatic music. They are based on western musical notes but composed in sanskrit lyrics addressed to a number of deities in Western major scale "C" (i.e) we consider this major scale as Raga Shankarabharanam in our classical music. Each of them are set in different Talas.
