"Rasa" - Through the Essence of Love. July 11th - 12th, 2014 at Tulsa PAC SummerStage Festival. "Rasa" means emotion. The essence of love can manifest in the form of several human emotions. When this innate sentiment explodes and expresses itself, whether for people, land, fame or fortune, one can experience the entire spectrum of emotions like happiness and sadness, courage and compassion, laughter and anger, wonder and horror. Using the visually stunning and uplifting dance forms of Indian classical and Bollywood dance, Hip-hop, Salsa and Ballet, the show depicts these "Rasas" and how we can achieve inner peace and harmony if we can truly learn to harness these emotions. This is a production of Kripalaya Dance Academy and is directed by Priya Raju.
