Last month I had a great layover in Doha, Qatar on my way to Europe. I only had one full day to explore and really enjoyed my time there. I stayed at Al Najada Hotel by Tivoli which was right across the road from Souq Waqif. After exploring the marketplace, I saw the Pearl Monument and went to the Islamic Museum of Art. It's a super easy city to layover in and the locals were very friendly.
